BIGGEST NEWS: The schedule for FREAKON 2025 is now live!
VENUE NEWS: Due to circumstances outside the control of the FREAKS (which is all circumstances) we've had to move venues for FREAKON 2025 - we will be returning to STUDIO TAKE CARE where we held FREAKON last year.
We're really grateful to Studio Take Care for having us back on short notice - unfortunately it does mean that the BIG ROOM track of content will be held upstairs in a space that isn't wheelchair accessible. Our sincerest apologies for this change.

We’re excited to debut our first (and possibly last) ever FREAKON… game???
SEASON OF DECAY is a playable eulogy for some of the games journalism that shaped us as freaks. Quilted together by Ally McLean Hennessy, it weaves in contributions from the community to pay respects to some of the greats.

BYO shirt from home to be screen printed! Got some corporate merch you want to breathe new, freakier life into? Got 45 plain black tees sitting around and want to spice it up a little? Getting a BYO tee hand screen printed with the special glow in the dark FREAKON mushroom design will only cost you $20!!
What you need to know about BYO:

Your shirt should be cotton, or majority cotton.
- If you’re not sure, take a look at the tag - and if this is a well-loved shirt or you love to cut off tags, our advice is to drop a little water on it. If it absorbs pretty quickly, it’s probably cotton! If it repels the water, it’s no good for screen printing.
- The scale of our smaller print is A4 landscape - we can print on garments smaller than a small t-shirt but the design will be overset with the position at alignment being at our discretion
- The shirts will be hand-printed, which means there may be imperfections, so not every shirt will be the same. It's called CHARACTER
- (It goes without saying, but please wash the shirt before you bring it)
